Band of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra
The Βand of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra is a vivid ensemble with 25 musicians who play wind, brass and percussion instruments. The sound of this ensemble is very powerful and always excites audiences. The band performs in many occasions and is frequently invited to perform in events.
Strings Ensemble
The Strings Ensemble of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra consists of the 25 most talented string players of the orchestra and thrives in its performances. The ensemble performs popular classic repertoire.

Percussion Ensemble of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra
The Percussion Ensemble of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra includes a variety of percussion instruments and sounds which make it truly remarkable. The repertoire varies from classical to contemporary music and satisfies the most demanding listener. It consists of up to 10 percussion players, depending on the repertoire.

Junior Ensembles
As from October 2015, the activities of the CyYSO Academy are enriched with the creation of the Junior Ensembles. The Junior Ensembles are made up of the youngest musicians of the CyYSO Academy, and enable them to play with their fellow young musicians. This contributes to their musical development, building-up team-work spirit and offers them valuable experience for their participation both in the senior ensembles and the orchestra. The Junior Ensembles also receive rhythmic instruction.
Junior Strings Ensemble
The Junior Strings Ensemble consists of 20 young musicians aged between 6-13 years. They are coached by two Teachers of the CyYSO Academy Strings and perform a repertoire that meets their abilities, but gives them enjoyment at the same time.
Junior Brass Ensemble
The Junior Brass Ensemble, consists of 25 youngsters who are passionate about music. They play Film music, classical music and even pop music on some occasions. It is a very vibrant ensemble and its young members enjoy it to the fullest.
Junior Woodwind Ensemble
The Junior Woodwind Ensemble includes oboes, flutes, bassoons and clarinets. It is made up of 9 young musicians who are trained to become successful wind players.
