After the enthusiastic reception of the public to the CySO’s first presentation of “Discover the Symphony” within the “Neighbourhood Concerts” series, it is now the turn of children, parents and all our beloved audience in Pafos to enjoy this exciting musical journey with highlights from the world of the symphony.
Come to discover with us the Symphony, one of the most significant orchestral musical genres! Through samples of popular symphonies by the greatest composers of the genre, we will travel through time from the classical composers Joseph Haydn, the father of the symphony and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at the end of the 18ου c. to the «romantics» Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert in the 19th c. up to the Russian Sergei Prokofiev at the beginning of the 20th c.

Haydn: Symphony no. 101 in D major (“The Clock”): III. Menuetto
