Pafos, the mythical hometown of Aphrodite, is inextricably linked to the goddess of beauty and love. This mythical landscape is brought to light with a performance dedicated to the passion of love and life, featuring the German musical and chanson star Ute Lemper joining forces with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra. The programme includes highlights of Kurt Weill’s music and Bertolt Brecht’s poetry. Ballads and songs come together with music from The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny and The Threepenny Opera.
