The deep and rich sound of the Alphorn, a folk instrument, symbol of life in the Alps a few centuries back, finds a special place as a soloist in the classical repertoire, as well as in Cyprus theatres, for the first time! We will also enjoy eight specially selected waltzes by different composers of the 19th century which wonderfully exhibit the expressive potential of this genre from a time when the waltz was extremely popular in European high society.
