The Arts of Theatre and Music meet in this performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s incidental music Midsummer Night’s Dream, based on Shakespeare’s comedy of the same title. Mendelssohn’s melodically exciting and rhythmically taut music blends with the theatrical text. Through revolutions of love, relationships come to conflict with the games of a spiritual world.
