Α music hyper-production in four acts which traces a journey through the history of Cyprus from Evagoras, King of the ancient city of Salamis around 411 b.c. until the hero Evagoras Pallikarides and the Cyprus Independence in 1960. The music is composed by Polyvios Charalambous in a serious style with the use of various elements from different musical periods including significant use of jazz, and even rock harmonies and rhythm. The song lyrics are taken from poems by the Ancient Greek Epic Poet Homer and Cypriot poet Vassilis Michaelides, whilst the narration texts are by the Cypriot historian and writer Andros Pavlides and the composer.
