A performance for all, based on “The Sound of Music”, the musical film which won over the world! It tells the story of the von Trapp family and Maria, who transformed the lives of Captain von Trapp and his seven children with her kind nature, joyful spirit and her singing.
The wonderful singer Aliki Chrysochou will both narrate the story and perform Richard Rodgers’ famous songs, including “I have confidence”, “My favorite things”, “Do-Re-Mi” and many more, immortalized by Julie Andrews in “The Sound of Music”. Images from the film will be projected during the performance. The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of its Honourary Conductor, Alkis Baltas, will accompany the singer with a gorgeous orchestration by the pianist Vicky Stylianou.
